Melisse's Josiah Citrin (Lemon) and JiRaffe's Rafael Lunetta (Moon) may have scaled down the extravagance of their higher-end restaurants, but the food still delivers in flavors and complexity. The grilled chicken panini sandwich with pesto is gooey with melted cheese and exudes just a hint of spice from roasted peppers. A hearty skirt-steak salad with Thai basil, grilled scallions and shiitake mushrooms is delicious. Desserts include praline-like pecan sticky buns and a sugared sandwich cookie with creamy-sweet dulce de leche filling.
